    it contained nothing but leaves. He brought home the crock and it remained inthe house until about ten years ago. The inside of the crock bore the mark of the gold. Wise people say that he should have taken some few coins from the crock and all would have remained good. That tree still stands on Roe's farm and is known as the money tree.
