  1. Once upon a time there was a man living in Cervey called Richard Kerrigan, Curvey is two miles from Aughgower.
    One night he went out visiting and card-playing to a neighbour's house a distance of a half a mile away. He waited there card-playing until a quarter to two in the morning. On his return home he heard a great noise as if walls were falling. When he came to the spot where he heard the noise there wasn't anything wrong with them atall.
    A few years later that same man went driving his cows up to the mountains
