  1. Long ago there lived a man called John Bán and he was to get married. One day he went to town for all the things. When he left the house it was middling late and and when he was coming home it was two o' clock at night. When he was coming near a bush he saw a person dressed in white. The strange man spoke to John and asked him what he was doing out so late and John told him that he was buying a wedding. The man asked him who was getting married and John said it was himself. The strange man said he could not get married but John said he could. The
