One morning long ago when a man from Ballinlough got up he saw a water horse in a field and he went up to the horse and caught him he did not stir until the man was riding on him and as soon as the man went riding on the horse he ran as quickly as he could and he jumped into the lake with the man riding on him and the man was never heard of from that day to this.
