    Live horse and you will get grass.
    A stitch in time saves nine.

    Half a loaf is better than no bread.
    A bend is better than a break.
    The day of the storm is not the day of the scallop.
    Fast bind, fast find.
    The longer you live the more you hear.
    The younger the chicken the sweeter the picking.
    The nearer to the altar the farther from God.
