- One night as St. Senan was asleep his foal strayed away from him. When he awoke he could not find his foal. He knelt on a rock and began to pray. He prayed that the foal might stick when he was. So he went in search of him and he found him stuck on a rock in Slievdooly. St. Senan knelt to thank God.
