- The magpie is a very common bird in this district. She is of a black and white colour. She build her nest in an ivy tree. It is built with sticks and is shaped like a ball. She usually lays four eggs. She lives on oats, slugs, and heneggs. The colour of her eggs are green She builds her nest in the summer.
