- The name of my townland is Reynawn, which means an old track. It is in the Parish of Ferbane, and in the Barony of Garrycastle. Seven families live in the townland, with twenty-eight people. Egan is the name most common. There are ten houses all of which are slated.
There are five persons over seventy years of age. They do not know Irish, they know only English.
There were more houses in former times. Six of them are in ruins.
