    The "High Field" is so called because it is a very high field.
    The "Canal Field" is so called because it is beside the Canal.
    The "Long Field" is so called because it is long and narrow.
    The "Middle Field" is so called because it is in the middle of the farm.
    The "Bog Field" is so called because it is on the edge of the bog.
    The "Big Field" is so called because it is a big field at the back of the house.
    "Wallace's Field" is so called because a man named Wallace lived there, and the ruins of the old house are to be seen still.
    The "Sand Pit Field" is so called because there is a sandpit in it.
    The "Stoney Field" is so called because it is very stony ground.
    The "Narrow Field" is so called because it is long narrow.
