He left Bealaclave at about 10-30 on a Monday morning and arrived in Dublin at three o'clock Tuesday evening.
    Another man by the name of Patsy Carey, townland of Foilduff, parish of Kilcommon, Co.Tipperary used often leave his own house in the morning and walk to Tipperary, about twenty three English miles from his own house and be back again in time for his tea.
    Michael Meagher, townland of Foilduff, parish of Kilcommon, Co.Tipperary walked from his own house to a fair in Listowel, Co.Kerry. It took him a day and a half to do the journey.
