Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There is a herb which is very plentiful every place and the name of it is dandoline. Long ago the people used to use this herb for curing warts. When the herb [?] was flowered the person who wanted the cure broke the flower from the stem. Then a white liquid like milk came forth and this was rubbed to the warts nine mornings in sucession, also the person should be fasting each morning otherwise the cure would not work. The colour of this flower is yellow.
    Another herb which was used very often by the old people were older berries. When the berries were ripe the women went and gathered a number of them. Then they were placed in a cloth and squeesed into a tub of water, and this water was used for dyeing purposes.
