    There is another field in Con Moynihan's ground called the "Field of the Well"; on account of there being a well at one end. It is often called "the Field of the Fort" on account of it being near a fort.
    There is a field in William Shannon's ground of Cussavina, a townland about two miles from the town of Ballydehob, which is called "Paddy's Field" It got its name from a man who lived there long ago named Paddy Donnel.
    There is a field in William Mara's ground of Gurtnagrow, a townland of about three miles from Ballydehob, which is called "The Inch". At one side of it there is a river and on the other sides there is a hill, and therefore it it like an island, and from this it got its name.
    There is a field in Thomas Kingston's ground called th "Lag". on account of it being low down. Near this field in the same farm, is a field called the "Rock Field", on account of there being a big rock in the centre.
