  1. It is very nice to note the habits of the birds and how their movements foretell the kind of weather that is coming.
    The swallows always fly low when rain is near. The crow will not come out from it's rookery when we are going to have rain, and on a wet day if the crows come out it is a sure sign it is going to get fine. When a hard frost is coming the green plover flies towards the south and flies back north again when the frost is going. It is nice to see the golden plover on the wing he goes on a shape. The robin is the tamest of all the birds and will hop around the door step in search of crumbs.
