   People having consumption used to get black snails and wood-lice and boil them and after boiling them they used to eat them.
   When people had warts they used to get a snail box (shell) and rub it to the warts, then they used to hang it - the snail - upon a bush until it withered or decayed and by that time the wart used to be decayed also.
   Long ago when a person slightly cut his leg or hand he immediately put a daisy up to it and it stopped the blood.
   People having a head-ache, wet very black paper and they then put it around their heads.
   When a person got a sore throat he got a sock and after making it damp he put it up to his sore throat.
   People subject to stomach pains used to boil the dandelion and then they used to bottle this boiled dandelion water. They used to drink about a half a cup of it every day it was great for stomach ailments and also for improving a person's complexion. This dandelion water was also called dandelion tea.
