Aged 50 years Mount Irwin - In the year 1914 there was a heavy snow storm in Killaville. There were big snow drifts on the land and some sheep were snowed around. The owner did not know where to find the sheep but he expected to find them dead when the snow-drifts would be over. One day as he was going through the field examining the snow drifts he found a little hold in the snow. To his great surprise he afound all his sheep alive after a period of 3 weeks. They had nothing to eat but a little bit of grass that was inside in the little house they had made.
