- There are not many tailors in the country nowadays. Long ago the tailors used to come around to the houses.
There are two tailors in the district. There is a tailor in Geevagh. He works in his own house he does not stock cloth in his house. When a person wants anything made he brings the cloth to him and he makes it.
In olden times the people used to spin the cloth and make their cloths from it. Nobody spins cloth nowadays nor they don't wear home spun clothes.
Long ago people used to grow flax and spin it and make shirts from it. The people of to day don't grow flax or they don't make shirts from homespun linen.
There is also a tailor in Ballyfarnon, he stocks cloth and when people want anything made they go and buy the cloth and the tailor makes it for them.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
