- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)On Easter Sunday it was a custom with the old people to use alot of eggs and up to the present day that custom is kept up. On Shrove Tuesday they would not eat any more meat until Easter Sunday.
The people nowadays have an easier way of living than the people had long ago they also have better food than the people had long ago. The people had no tables in olden times and they used to cut square pieces of turf out of the bog and save them and when they would be dry and saved, they would last for over a hundred years.
When tea was first used the people used to eat the tea leaves and throw away the water.- Bailitheoir
