    Felebeen grey and golden plovers flock together in monstrous numbers Sometimes large flocks of Steers fly like dark-clouds from one feeding place to another. Seagulls spend the whole day inland searching for worms. They keep company with the crows and with them they follow the plough for worms.
    Swallows, martins and swifts come here to us from the hot countries such as, South Africa, and India
    The same pair of swallows build their nests in Betty Judge's barn every year. According to him the corncrake never leaves this country. He has seen them thousands of times during the Winter.
