   Father still in that very direction
   The old Castle walls Drumahaw
   Where O'Rourke long afforded protection
   To the gallant O'Sullivan Beare

   Here west lies the Arigna valley
   Its charms my pen cannot tell
   And only three miles from the valley
   Lies the station of famed Lassair well
   By St Lassair blessed who'll deny it
   Just at the sixth century's close
   And in the old chapel hard by it
   O Carollan's relics repose
