    blood with her breast and that is the reason she has a red breast.
    The crow is a big bird. She is of a black colour. She gets up very early. When the crows are flying about it is said to be a sign of rain. The farmer's do not like the crow because she eats their potatoes and she also eats their corn.
    The swallow is a brown bird about the same size as the blackbird. She is a good singer. She does not stay in this part of the country the whole year. She comes here in June and goes away in September. She is the bird the farmer's like best because she does not eat their crops.
