  1. Here are the names of the farm animals. The Cow and Calf and the Horse and Ass the Pig and Sheep. The hens and ducks and geese and turkeys.
    The names of our cows are Polly, Horny, and Blackie, Polly is so called because she has no horns and when we are calling her we say Polly Polly. The cow is milked twice a day morning and night. She is foddered with hay four times a day. In the Summer time the cow lies out in the field day day and night and in Winter she is tied in the byre and this is the way
