  1. Most children like throwing stones out of a sling. The sling is made by getting an old shoe and cut the tongue out of it. Then put a hole in each end of the tongue and put a string in each hole. The strings be about a foot and a half in length. Then the sling is made. The person who is going to throw the stone holds the strings in his hand and puts a stone in the tongue of the shoe. Then he swings it round and round and lets one string go and holds the other one
