  1. About twenty years ago there was an old woman named Ketty Gillen who used to travell around the country.
    At that time there was a spinning wheel in every house. She used to stay in the houses at night and used to go to a different house each night.
    She used to make yarn by carding and spinning the wool. There was a Niece of her's that travelled with her also and her name was Katerine Leonard she used to knit the socks when the yarn was ready and then she went through the country selling them.
