  1. There is an old fort in the townland of Gortnalibret near a house called Michael Mac Morrow's. There is a big hole down the middle of it called a cave. One night a dance was held in Michael Mac Morrow's and a man named Pat Mac Morrow was send for a fiddle to a man named Willie Pye. When he went to the fort he heard grand music playing. He went home to tell them that he was coming. They waited to see was he coming but he did not come.
