She was a very charitable Lady. Her husband kept large bins of Oatmeal. Poor People from all parts of the District came for Alms. Often times she emptied the bins. One day her husband rebuked her for her extravagance, because when he left home in the morning the bins were full and when he returned in the evening he found them empty. Next morning when he went out to re-fill the bins he found them full. Then he knew it was a miracle so he never rebuked her afterwards.
When she was out walking if she met a beggar-woman she often took off her skirt and have it to her if she had nothing else to give. On the day she died strange bells were heard ringing in the air. It is thought they were bells of Heaven.
