  1. Long long ago there was a man living in Carrow More and he was to build a new house. There was a big stone in his own field and it was said that nobody should touch that stone. One day the man was getting stones for his new house when he happened on this big stone. He brought to where the new house was. When the house was finished he went to live in it and when he went to bed that night he thought a big heavy weight was hanging down over his head. He then told his wife about it but she said he must be dreaming. The next night after some neighbours came in and he told them about the heavy weight that was hanging over his head and the told him that he must leave back the stone. He then left back the stone and ever afterwards he was never
