- One night a man was coming home from his brother's house after visiting. Just when he was coming along by Owenwree he heard great choking inside the wall. He was very much afraid at first but after awhile he got courage. Anyhow he followed on but he heard the choking all the time, This time he lit a match and looked inside the wall. Then it stopped and he could see nothing.
He continued his journey and this time the choking stopped. Then he heard great laughing and when he came near his own house a light shone around him and on his face. After that he heard no more laughing and when he arrived home he told his story.(continues on next page)
