  1. There is a white thorn fairy bush outside Loftus's old house in Creggsundarragh. One night Martin Kerrigan of Knappa-Beg was looking out the door and he saw a blaze of light over all the bush. He kept looking because he was not afraid. The next place ha saw the light was on a hill on his own land. He did not know how it got to that hill. It stayed there for about a half and hour playing around a rock on the hill. Then it went down behind the hill and disappeared.
