  1. One night Tomm Heneghan of Currdaragh was working for Pat Malone of Lanmore. He left Pat Malone's house at twelve o'clock in the night and started his journey home. Just when he came near a white thorn bush east of our house he saw lights. When he was passing the bush a big man walked out. He appeared to be as high as the moon.
    The fairy man kept with him until he came to Derrig's house at the quarry road and then he changed to a black fairy dog. The dog kept with Tom Heneghan until he came near his own house and
