  1. Straw Boys
    When straw boys used to come to weddings long ago they used to have big plaited hats and grand dresses on them. Long ago at weddings they would have three or four gangs of straw boys. When they would come in they would get a glass of stout. Anyone that would not take the stout would have it thrown up under their false faces. Then they would sing enough and dance enough. At the finish up they would knock a rattle of a rhyme out of them about their neighbours. If anyone would interfere with any of the straw boys
