The two Hastin's families went to America. The Kittrick family went into westport to live. The three Moran families remaind there. The Creavy's McTeela's and Murphy's went to the West Indies. Brennan's family remained in Briggandearragh. Micky O Malley's and Ted Reid's families went to England and Mc Cann's went to Scotland. Some of the ruins of the houses are to be seen yet in Briggandearragh.
