  1. In the townland of Lahardane in Aughagower Parish seventy years ago there were just twice as many houses as there are there at present.
    In Thomas Roses (house) land there was a family living called OReilly's (6 people) Another family were called Kerrigan's (4 people). There was another family living there also that time called OMalleys but there was only one man and a woman living there. Where Rose's house is now there was a priest living called called Fr Ward.
    In Timothy O'Boyle's at the same time there was a family called Needhims. There was another
