  1. Years ago when a crowd was coming from a drag they would be rushing to see who would be first. One day a man on a horse got out in front of all. When he arrived at the couples house the horse was very tired and he had his tongue out in his mouth. So she ran into a pot of potatoes that was on the street after strained and which had been left cooling for the feast. The horse made a mess of the potatoes. When the cook came out she said it was no harm and she put down another pot of potatoes. But the people had to wait for another pot of potatoes.
