    of Hell they shall never enter while heaven is to be had.
    (3) O Merciful Jesus have mercy on me,
    My soul and my body I bestow unto thee,
    In honour of the five bleeding woulds on the three,
    O merciful Jesus (be) have mercy on me.
    (4) There are four corners on my bed,
    Four blessed angles round me spread,
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
    God bless me and the bed I lie on.
    God the father bless me,
    Jesus Christ defend and keep me
    And that the virtues of the Holy Ghost
    May enlighten and sanctify me now and forever, Amen
    (5) hail to the Queen that reigns above,
    Mother of clemency and love,
    Hail our life's sweetness, we,
    Eve's banished children cry to thee.
    And from this wretched vale of tears.
