Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth
And Wednesday the best day of all
Thursday for crosses, Friday for losses
And Saturday no luck at all.

If a person stops milking a cow on Sunday she will calve in day light
Friday is supposed to be lucky for the farmer to start to plough on.
It is thought to be unlucky to change from one place to another. An old proverb says. "Saturday's flit is a short sit" Friday is lucky to change from one house to another.
Tuesday and Thursday are two lucky days on which to get married.
If a person or animal is born on "Whit Sunday" they are supposed to kill someone.
