And to see the rippling waters
O'er the bright and silvery sandsPleasant times were in Dunmanus
When the boys would step genteel
The charming Bantry hornpipe
And the sporting Bandon reel
There was football in the Prairie
And a dance house in Dreenane
And on Sunday ever we went sailing
O'er the bay to Kilcrohane.
