  1. About forty years ago hunters were hunting a fox which they started at the north end of Killeeter bog and which had run up to the south end. They followed him on but lost sight of him. They met old Mr. Lynch from Newcastle and asked him. "Did you see a fox go this way"? He told them he did. They asked him was it long since and he told them it must be a year ago.
