  2. Hidden Treasure 10 Oct 1938
    In the townland of Piercetown, Barony of Kells Co Meath is a family of the name of O'Reilly. The present representative of the family are Charles O Reilly Senior and Charles O'Reilly Junior - father and son. The father of Charles O'Reilly senior was Philip O'Reilly. He was a farmer of moderate means and occasionally had a surplus beast or two which he disposed of in the local fair. On one occasion while doing business at the local fair and while his wife was attending to her domestic duties shortly before noon a medium sized woman, over middle age, of pleasing face and manner and tidily dressed appeared at the door. She addressed the woman of the house in a familiar voice, wished blessings on her house and all her labour. She asked for a little help. It was a habit with Mrs
