    I am a rover that's sailing over

    I am a rover that's sailing over
    The seas of toil and adversity.
    At every shore I seek a store
    Of the gold ore of tranquility.
    Yet with endeavour and endless labour
    I am sailing on that ocean still
    Although I must fly I could live and die
    In the homely valleys of sweet Murmod Hill
    Three years past o'er with as many more
    Since I came on shore of that lovely vale
    I always hanker to cast my anchor
    Where no foul rancour could me assail.
    No participation annoyed my station.
    But obligation to virtues will
    Although I must rove to a distant cove
    From the homely valleys of sweet Murmod Hill.
    What cheerful notion the vernal motion.
    Exciting those who frequent the glen
    The propagation of vegetation
    Brings animation to husbandmen.
    The joyful spring makes the farmers sing
    While his plough chain rings with a keenful thrill.
    The harrow traces while industry graces
