    Every nail that was used in the old Church in the Diagram was made in this forge. Crosses etc were fashioned out there too, and it is rumoured too, that this smith knew how to make a Pike and handle it too.

    Tommy Bradley who died ten years ago at the age of 85 was the best carpenter this district ever knew.
    The good he did lives after him, as the bodies and wheels of carts he made in his time and "going strong" yet.
