  1. Long ago the people used to go up to Dublin to do the harvest. There was a lad named Pat that used to go. This day he met a man and he asked Pat where he was working in Dublin? And he said "Just there as you go in". He asked Pat why did he not marry. And Pat said "I could often be married and married well". What sort was she? Oh she was as rich as a Jewess, she could buy this townland and the next townland and the next townland to that. And the lad asked how much has she? And Pat said £30.
