One of those is situated in Blackwater overlooking the village. It is called the "Moat" and it is conical in shape with an earthen fence surrounding it. There is a big tree on its slope. I was told that under this tree the Danes were supposed to keep their gold. Many people say the Danes built this fort. The "Moat" is situated overlooking a lane called the "Moat lane". While passing this lane many people heard music. A man from Blackwater district is said to have made an effort of ploughing it but failed.
