I have heard from a young man one Tom Walshe Bvaldon that 'tis a moat in Paddy Cullen's land of Inch and not a Raheen. He told me that P. Cullen was working one day at the moat - trying to clean it up and when he looked towards his own dwelling house that he saw it on fire and rushed immediately to get help but when he approached the house, there was no sign of fire.
On another occasion when working at the moat the same thing happened and he never made a further attempt to do anything with the "moat"
