    The wreck of "Tigress" wrecked about 73 years ago off Ballyconnigar Gap in Blackwater Parish about 1 mile from village of Bwater.
    Crew of four - 3 drowned carrying pipe clay Men in Riggings all day - 3 jumped into sea and other man was dragged to shore by life line
    Jaeger wrecked off Ballyconnegar also - general cargo no lives lost. Date of ship wreck not known
    A French ship carrying cargo of wheat - many students on board, all drowned. Wrecked in morning. Afternoon of same day "the Stag" was broken up in ten minutes near the same place - all hands lost
    Elestne Spark of Boston - wrecked in calm sea off Ballinaclask - cargo of pig iron.
