    Sore Eyes.
    Rub the juice of camomile on them
    Ear Ache
    Get a stocking filled with salt heated + lie on it for a quarter of an hour
    Chillblains
    Rub the juice of a dock leaf on them, or rub parafin oil on them
    Headache
    Keep your mouth full of parafin oil for some time
    Warts
    (1) Tie a horse hair around them and fall off in a short time.
    (2) Bury a straw in manure and as the straw rots the wart withers away.
    Burns
    Soda + Butter milk mixed + placed on burned part.
    Nettle Sting
    Dock leaves rubbed on sting + rhyme said
    "Dock leaf, dock leaf
    Take the sting of a nettle away"
    "Thrush"
    Juice of a snail
    Sore Throat
    Put a "Hairy Johnny" in a stocking + tie it around your neck
