    When the clouds are high and bright it is a sign of good weather.
    A rainbow is the sign of showery weather.
    When the wind is blowing from the north it denotes frost and snow.
    When it is blowing from the east it denotes hard cold weather.
    When from the south it denotes rain.
    From the west it also denotes rain and storm
    The South wing brings most rain to our district
    W|hen birds are flying high it is a sign of good weather.
    When they are inland it denotes hardship.
    When it is going to rain the peacock and guinea fowl cry.
    The cat turns her back to the fire as a sign of rain or storm.
    The dog gets sick and eats grass denoting rain.
