  1. The Local Fairs are held in Longford in the Market square and there are also some in the main street.
    Pig buyers come in big lorries through the country buying pigs.
    People in the district got up fairs in our district and buyers never come and they were discontinued and now, they are only four fairs in our district. The biggest fair in our district is the horse fair.
    There are no local traditions of fairs held on hills or in Castles in our district.
    Toll is paid on cattle going to the station 4d a head is paid on cattle. It is to the Urban Council for getting the streets cleaned.
    When people are buying animals they give luck money to the sellers. They give
