  1. I made a lovely chain from daisies one day. I got the daisies and put a hole in the stem at the top of it and I got another daisy and put it into the hole.
    I also made a necklace from chestnuts. I got a nail and put it through the chestnut and then I got some twine and put it through the hole and I kept doing that until it was long.
    I made a lot of dolls clothes out of old dresses for the dolls I also made a hat and trimmed it with a colour piece.
    The boys used to make tops from old spools and put a small stick in the middle of the spool.
    They also used to make stools out of a round piece of wood and put legs on it.
    In olden times children used to have
