    Hart's-tongue ferns dandelions, roots of daisies, nettles are used for healing purposes.
    Hart's-tongue-ferns are used for burns. The ointment is made by boiling butter, straining and leaving to set.
    Dandelions are used for making medicians and ointments.
    Roots of daisies are used for making ointments.
    Nettles are used for curing sciatica. They should be boiled in water strained and the water taken two or three times a day. Dandelions are used in salads and for animals.
    Dandelions and daisies are used for dyeing.
    Herbs were used extensively in the cure of diseases in former times.
    Some of the people were cured others could not be cured.
