    to live there long ago, and the family was called Common's.
    Then we have the village field, it is called the tillage because it is always used for tilling.
    Another field is called the cave field because it has a cave in it.
    Our fields are all in the townland of Ballykilroe near Ballinagore, in the parish of Castletown, the barony of Moycashel County Westmeath.

  2. Some of the fields at home have names, others have not. There is the "High Car Way," the "Pond field," the "Sally Lough," and the "Big field."
    The field called the high car way got its name on account of its being on a big height.
